The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 16528 is the 18 ct yellow gold Daytona from the first self-winding Daytona generation, introduced in 1988. This example had an emerald pavé dial.

The 16528 uses calibre 4030, a self-winding chronograph Rolex built on the Zenith El Primero, before moving to its own calibre 4130 in 2000.
