The Rolex Datejust 41 reference 126300 is made entirely in Oystersteel with a smooth bezel. This example has the slate dial with green Roman numerals that collectors call the Wimbledon dial, after the colours of the championships Rolex has timed since 1978.

The Datejust was introduced in 1945 as the first self-winding chronometer wristwatch to show the date in a window on the dial. The Datejust 41 uses calibre 3235, a self-winding movement with a power reserve of around 70 hours, certified as a Superlative Chronometer, and is water resistant to 100 metres.
